On Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 4.30-8.30pm in the hall of the Laboratory of Natural Sciences of the TEEPI of the University of Patras (Greece), a seminar will be held on:

The teaching of energy in pre-school education:
Theory, experiment, technology

The workshop is designed to train in-service teachers to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for effective teaching and learning of the concept of energy in pre-school education.

4.45-5.00 "Best practices for science teaching and learning in pre-school education: the example of the United Kingdom", Eirini Gkouskou (University College London).

5.00-6.30 "Workshop of practical experiments for teacher training focusing on energy as a single physics concept for the interpretation of different phenomena", Avraham Merzel (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem) and Yaron Lehavi (David Yellin College)

6.30-7.00 Coffee break

7.00-8.30 "GenAI (Generative Artificial Intelligence) for creating effective lesson plans for energy in education", Kalliopi Meli (100mentors e-learning providers)

8.30 Closing of the seminar
